Mike is in Houston this weekend for a trade show and I have been living it up (in good, married Mormon girl fashion). Yesterday I spent hours shopping and trying on clothes. I also went to dinner with my sister-in-law, Chrissy, which I love doing because I am quite the talker, and she does a very good job of listening. Then we caught the 10:00 showing of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. It was perfectly cheesy and wonderful. Today I went to work, and now I am enjoying won ton soup and lo mien, which was delivered (fabulous!), and I just opened my fortune cookie to find a warning that is eerily fitting. It says: You shouldn't overspend at the moment. Frugality is important. So I guess I can consider myself rebuked! Well, I'll try to be more sensible tomorrow, but for now I plan to walk a block to the movie store to rent a couple of chick flicks and then continue to watch the What Not to Wear marathon.
