A Jersey Wedding

Mike's best friend, Joe Smith, got married last month on the Jersey shore. Until then I had never had the pleasure of enjoying all that New Jersey has to offer. All in attendance of Joe and Erica's wedding were given this warning: "New Jersey: Only the strong survive!" The wedding highlighted the best of New Jersey, and we loved every minute of it. I learned a few things about the great state and people of New Jersey. I will now impart this knowledge to you.

1. Cleavage is totally acceptable in church, in fact-the more the better.
2. Chest hair is an accessory for all fashionable Jersey men.
3. Chest hair should be worn under a gold chain.
4. New Jersey has another mantra: "We don't pump our gas, only our fists."
5. The Jersey shore gets tropical storms passed up from the gulf coast.
(and there happened to be a very untimely nor easter that weekend)
6. Everybody is your friend at an Irish pub.
7. New Jersey is called the Garden State, and it is really beautiful.
8. It is best not to talk to all toll booth workers, they don't get out much.
9. "Relax... Relax." is another Jersey mantra.
10. The people of New Jersey know how to show everyone a good time and can throw a great party!

Joey and Mike: Best Friends Forever!

Yeah, we can dance. Seriously, I wish Mormon weddings had more dancing.

We were also able to spend a full day in Manhattan with Jess and Jon. Our day consisted of eating, eating, shopping, and shopping. We hit up our favorites H&M and Club Monaco. Oh wow, it was great!

We got some good Noah time in too!

Somewhere along the way I've forgotten how much I love the excitement of the big city, apparently shopping and eating reminded me again. It really was such a good time, in fact I was really sad to say goodbye. As for now I am missing the East coast.
