Shake Your What?

I had one of those great mom moments today.
Nanners loves to sing a little ditty that goes like this, "Shake your body. Shake your body..." over and over again as she dances.
Unfortunately well-intentioned people like to "correct" her by singing back, "Shake your booty, shake your booty..."

Today it all came to a head while I was attempting to dust sand off of her from the sandbox.
Mind you, this was at the zoo.
I said, "why don't you shake it off."
So she started shaking and shaking and singing, "Shake your boobies. Shake your boobies."
I'm pretty sure she just got body and booty confused into boobies.
I hushed her quickly but upon reflection I have realized that it was one of those awesome moments I want to cherish. Because only while hanging out with a 2-year-old do you get to hear this kind stuff and laugh again and again every time you think of it.

Classic! Lucy still calls her boots her boobs which provides endless variations of funny.

Ha ha ha! That is so funny! When Callie was younger she told a guy stocking the bulk foods in Winco, "That's my mom! She's wearing a shirt! She's not naked!" Never a dull moment with a toddler!
