Summer in Review

Summer brought:

*Our 3-year wedding anniversary.
That's just crazy!
We celebrated by eating sushi sans baby.
As I think of the last three years,
I'm reminded again and again that Heavenly Father
knows what will bring us the most happiness.
And I'm pretty dang happy with The Pants,
our life in Portland and the addition of little Nanners.

*Many new tricks for Nanners

She's found her voice too.
She babbles and screams like crazy.
It's pretty fun to sit and just listen to her.
I sure hope her voice becomes less shrill though
or I may have to invest in earplugs.

*A quick trip to Bend

No pictures sadly but this trip was memorable in that
our friends Aaron and Lynnsey were awesome hosts and
Nanners proved to us that she is a very good little traveler.
She was quite pleasant for the entire 5 hour car trip.
(2 hours were added because of a huge accident and subsequent traffic jam)
She was so good it gave us the courage to book tickets for a trip
to NYC in October.

*A visit from the Manhattan Horey's

*A family beach trip to Lincoln City

*A 4 month birthday for Nanners
Per her 4-month check-up she was
11 lbs 12 oz
and 25 inches.
I was also given the go-ahead from her pediatrician
to start her on solid foods (because she could use some beefing up).

Summer was good to us but we're ready for fall.
It is my favorite season after all.

Your little Nanners is adorable, and you're looking gorgeous as usual. Zac's voice has become quite shrill lately, and he's now adept at screaming up a storm as well. I really do hope he grows out of it because I don't think it will be much of a turn-on with the ladies when he's older.

At Zac's 4 month appt (he was actually 4 and 1/2 months) he was 17 pounds 7 ounces. He would squish your baby if he rolled over onto her. Let's take precautionary measures so that doesn't happen (in case we ever get them together for a play date). I'm glad you're enjoying your life. Love ya love ya love ya! (that was 3 leg kicks)
