We can't find it anywhere.
I just hope it lost itself at the Sleighbells tree farm.
Hopefully it is enjoying Christmas cookies, crafts and the scent of pine.
We didn't really need to remember Christmas/New Year's 2009 anyway, right?
We did manage to borrow The Pants' work camera this week and snap a few photos.
We had a fabulous holiday filled with a lot of family time.
I really felt like I was able to enjoy everything about Christmas this year.
The spirit of Christ and His love was so abundant and I hope to carry it into this new year.
Here's just a little recap of the last couple of months:
November--
We had a great Thanksgiving with both of our families at one table.
The Pants researched like crazy and made a big purchase--a cowmooflage carseat!
We painted our new place. ("It'll take 4 or 5 hours," we said. 15 hours later...)
We moved into our new place with the help of our dedicated friends and family.
December--
The Pants worked tirelessly to make our new place feel like home (I was having mixed emotions about the move).
My official title was "director of household projects"-which means I watched and critiqued The Pants while he did everything in our house.
We spent time wooing Jon, Jess, Noah and Gabriel in hopes they'll move to Oregon from NYC. I think we were pretty persuasive.
We opened a massive pile of presents for baby "Henrietta," as she was dubbed. (Doesn't Henrietta Horey have a nice ring to it?!)
My most newlywedded sister and brother-in-law visited us from Utah. I loved seeing that they "fight" like my Mom and Dad. So funny.
And now here we are in the ides of January. I'll be done working in scrubs in March so I'm currently in "find a job that works with a baby" mode. It's exciting and daunting at the same time. I've been asked twice if I'm due in February and if I'm having twins or triplets-but with the help of The Pants I am feeling o.k. with a widening face and butt. We also painted the baby's room and started some baby projects. All in all we're happy, healthy and enjoying where we're at in life--right here in January 2010.
Here are some pictures of what we've done with our new home:
The apple green kitchen sans dishwasher. We're getting used to that.
Our living/dining/music room with a wall of pictures of all the people/places/art we adore.

you look great and so does your new place! Have fun preparing!
sorry about your camera. both the new place and the baby bump look so cute! wish we could have seen them in person over Christmas, we'll do better next time.
Amber your belly is so cute...and how fun to have a place to decorate and do whatever you want to it...love the apple green.
Your house and baby bump are very very cute! I think people that ask if you're due in February or March are on something, you're still tiny! Ps... Zack and I don't fight like Mom and Dad!
