Mike and I decided to harness our inner chi by taking a Taekwondo class. We started it about two months ago and we have really loved the opportunity to do something together that is totally new for us both. Mike is a natural (surprise), and is very dedicated to learning everything as fast as he possibly can. After class he looks up the commands and forms online so we can learn them before they are even covered in class. As I watch Mike's amazing enthusiasm, one thought runs through my mind: "I can't let him get ahead of me." This has served me well, seeing as we both were promoted to yellow belt in only a month and a half. Now, not to toot our own horns, but our instructor told us he doesn't like promoting people this early on, but he knew he had to because we were...so ridiculously good (I may have made that up). TOOT! TOOT! So we got to perform in front of a group of people from our ward. It was great fun-it also solidified our status as the coolest people ever. Just look how cool we look in those uniforms.

Ambam, How fortuitous for society that you started a blog! I'm confident I will enjoy your rantings. It'll be like the old days when we would all email our rantings to each other in the library. You need to make sure you update this blog more regularly than your foodie blog (which has been lying dormant for months if you hadn't noticed). I love the pictures and that fact that you and Mike are taking the class together!
You have MAD skills!! Also, to be admired by all. Way to go on earning the yellow belts. However I can't help wondering if someone bribed Chris into earning a yellow belt early. J/K Love the blog, now we can truly see how great you really are. Thanks for holding back for the rest of us.
I'm glad you have a REAL blog now!
Man, if you two were any cuter, you'd be....me and Cliff! That's so awesome you are doing that class together. I AM jealous of your mad skills. Thanks for the link. I got you back.
